About this movie

Jerry Mitchell is having one of those days. He's late for high school, his car has a flat tire and he's been sent to the dean's office. But worst of all, he's incurred the wrath of the feared new student, Buddy Revell, the biggest, meanest, downright nastiest guy in class who forces him into a fight at 3 p.m. in the school parking lot. Poor Jerry has just seven hours, a good supply of wit, a few friends, a savvy kid sister and the worst luck of any kid alive, to find a way out of his tough problem. As the clock ticks away and the suspense mounts, Jerry realizes there's no way he can avoid facing the muscle-bound bully in a fight that will probably be his last. It's brain against brawn in one of today's best contemporary teenage comedies.

Classic 80's. Not a well known movie but there was alot of great movies that came out back then that didnt gain alot of popularity due to the neverending list of great movies they had to contend with. 80's is the best decade ever for movies in my opinion.

This movie goes into the vault of 89's cult classics. Very well written, excellent acting in that 80's comedy style, with twists and turns at every corner. Prepare for an emotional rollercoaster. You'll love the characters and you wont be disappointed.

I don't think this film will "do it" for the majority of people who weren't already alive when it was released. For those of us who are old enough to remember watching this on cable a few years after it came out, it's like going back in time to a place where social media isn't destroying the world. A place where we handled our differences in person, and as ourselves. Not hiding behind a keyboard, like so many of you kids on Twitter and Facebook.
