I typically have low expectations for LGBT movies. I grew up in a time when gay movies had bad acting, were extremely campy, or were simply softcore pornos in movie form. This movie definitely doesn't fit into any of those descriptions. This movie had me jumping back and forth between what I believed to be the better path for the protagonist. It's not until the end where I learned that the movie wasn't about which path to take, but the path that you make.

Beautifully filmed with handsome actors who weren't just pretty faces but offered powerful and nuanced performances. A little heavy handed with the Gilbert and Sullivan references. And the token straight guy could have benefited from a more prominent and integrated storyline. But overall a moving and entertaining drama.

This movie was brilliant. There were a few parts that were slow and seemed like time fillers, but the rest was amazing. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody, as it is a good story and has a lot of emotion.
