About this movie

Marvel's "Thor: The Dark World" continues the adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel's "Thor" and "Marvel's The Avengers," Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos...but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. To defeat an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor sets upon his most dangerous and personal journey yet, forced into an alliance with the treacherous Loki to save not only his people and those he loves...but our universe itself.

Marvel once again pioneer the way for sci-fi action movies. This instalment of Thor gave it a less fun and more serious feel but the story was a strong one, it was rooted in realistic human responses from the characters and it had a good ending. Thor 3 on the way - let's hope we don't have a dark knight rises disaster on our hands!

Thor and Loki will never let you down in terms of acting and genral onscreen charisma but this filmed failed to have a decent plot. The most annoying thing about the film was Jane character, the whole randomness of her being in the exact location on Earth, in freaking England where he was looking for the thing really annoyed me. Jane is not that interesting, her screen time should be limited to a bare minimum.

Pointless movie and boring second instalment of Thor that makes you think if it has not been enough of this superhero madness. One feels zero involvement with the characters, the story is feeble and the acting poor; Nathalie Portman, you can do better that this crap.
