This movies shows people as stereotypes. You come away from it with a sticky, icky feeling of being a stereotype. Yes, there were funny lines. But 92 minutes into its 137 minutes, my wife and I gave up and turned it off. We realized we did not like anyone in the movie. I felt manipulated constantly. I guess I would recommend it to people who wanted to see Paul Rudd sitting on a toilet at least three times. Ugh.

This is the biggest load of rubbish ever. It is the reason men dread rom-coms. Neither funny nor romantic. 2h17 minutes of directionless, tortuous nonsense. Do not waste your time watching this. Do not even pirate this movie. you have been warned

This is a terrible movie, and that's such a puzzling thing. There were so many good actors, and the premise was interesting. However, the drama was highly manufactured and awkward. There was no spark to it. I watched this on TV and found myself wondering several times why I was watching it at all.
