Insightful I think that the movie realistically portrays humankind during a moment of crisis, however grim that point of view is. I enjoyed how the protagonist matures quickly. I sometimes felt that his new formulation of self was forced upon him. I gave the film a rating in the middle because I have watched the central theme of it pronounced better in other work. I believe that the message of the movie is powerful, though!

There's been a lot of good indie movies coming out of Australia lately and to me this is definitely one of them. I've always been a fan of apocalyptic films. I think because they make you look at yourself if you were in that position but more importantly what's important to you? What really matters to you in the end? This film definitely epitomizes that. The protagonist gives a strong evolving performance in the film. You go on the journey with this dude it's a great movie.

While apocalypse films are blowing up in theaters, little films like this are a safe haven in a bitter storm. When a loathsome man ditches the woman he loves so that he can attend an apocalypse party, he runs across a little girl whose last wish is to spend her final hours with her father. This slice of life film delves deeply into the psyche of humans who know that their number is up and have become desperate in their final hours. Well worth watching.
