The Winning Season

A has-been coach, Bill (Sam Rockwell), is given a shot at redemption when his old friend and high school principal (Rob Corddry) asks him to coach the high school girls' basketball team. Bill is hungry to coach but he has mixed feelings about leading a girl's team - frankly, he thinks it's beneath him. But slowly, he and the girls forge a strong bond as underdogs that rebound from a string of early-season losses to make it to the sectional finals.
