You have to watch this movie more than once, there's much more to it than what is superficially apparent. This is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE MOVIE OF ALL TIME. I feel bad for those who gave such a poor reviews because they missed some really important take aways that provoke much thought. It's not just a movie about a crazy white trash family, if you watch it and think that it is I suggest you watch it again. No matter how many times I watch this movie, I always pick up on something new that I didn't notice or think about before.

You can say what you want to say but we all got the Whites in our family. I actually loved this documentary and can relate. White people call their unruly family members rednecks. Black people call ours ghetto. Same understanding, different name. You are a product of your upbringing and environment unless you remove yourself from it and learn to live another way. The White seem like nice people. They just were brought up a certain way. Not making excuses for them but they truly don't seem to know any better.

Can you say White trash. Just when I thought to myself this can not possibly get worse; and the ignorant back-woods 'people' featured in the movie could not possibly be more trashy... Yep there it is; the trailer park! Really tops it off. The greats shame.. The truly scary part! These individuals, with the education of an infant and intellect of a mentally disabled chimp actually breed.
