The Way, Way Back

I don't know that I'd call it a hilarious comedy, but it's a really enjoyable film all the same and could've easily watched more so shame there's no sequel. I kind of felt like it didn't really go anywhere, but at the same time that's what makes it work well; you're not distracted by wondering how it'll play out and instead get to enjoy the characterisation which is refreshing. Definitely worth a watch.

Had never heard of it, but bought it after a recommendation from a friend and absolutely loved it. Great characters, great fun and makes you feel a few feels when it counts. Brilliant!

I love this film, much more interesting than the usual coming of age tripe that is regularly turned out. Steve c shows that he can play alternative parts by being the mildly bullying and acerbic step dad ..amazing film
