The Wave

Mother, father and son survive a tsunami in Norway. The disaster consists of one single wave, but it's the mother of all. The thing is, it takes a full 40 minutes before things start moving along, and once the wave has passed, the story becomes basically that of a couple of people forced to swim in enclosed areas until the family is saved and reunited. The film ends on that note. Nothing in this movie - and certainly not the English subtitles - explains why Google Play Movies is charging a whopping $7.99 for the rental. I don't get it, and I hope this movie is not the launch of a rip off category.

Audio Language Norwegian (5.1) it only comes like this not in english i talked to google they said they dont know when it come in english..... so dont buy it on less from norwegian.... im letting every know... if buy on line.. if buy it store movie dvd u put your lanuage in

Didn't realize the movie was subtitled in English. Never rent foreign language films, but since I did, decided to watch. Really good action and emotionally moving, movie, and I didn't find it hard to follow. Glad I rented it after all.
