Up in Wisconsin I went to go see the movie unstoppable but accidentally went in the wrong door because the theater was having issues with their signs and the ticket master told me it was door 4. I wonder in and take a seat. Turns out the same thing happened to my now wife who sat next to me. We sat through the previews and talked a little about the upcoming films. Then The Warriors Way started. At first we thought it was just another preview but then it didn't stop. We laughed through the whole movie. A+

An impressive film with a straight-forward plot, colorful characters, incredible action, and suprising comedy. The film almost feels a parody of other Asian martial arts films, but this doesn't prevent the action from being thrilling. The characters can occasionally be over-the-top, particularly Kate Bosworth's thick accent in this film, but when the setting puts the lead in the middle of a literal circus act, none of this feels too out of the ordinary. There are some slight issues with slow pacing, but a relatively patient viewer will be treated to a fantastic film overall.

Unlike 47 Ronin, I remember most of this movie, even after more than a year... And i would watch it again. Visually stunning, unbelievable and cartoonishly bloody/violent fight scenes coupled with a good cast (though Geoffery Rush gets the short shrift here) this is a movie that made an impact.
