The Village in the Woods

Wasn’t expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Stand out stuff to me was atmosphere and acting. I’m a fan of old school hammer films and this sort of reminded me of those. I loved the Maddy woman. Really odd character with crazy hair. She was like a weird women’s institute type with a high sex drive! The movie won’t be for everyone, it’ll probably divide but if you liked Eggers, The Witch or similar things you’ll probably like this little movie! I recommend.

Dark, creepy little tale. A bit like hammer movies. Lots of atmosphere and acting was good.
