Anti-hero Robert Miller is "THE VETERAN" in this gritty, hard-hitting tale of a young soldier returning from Afghanistan. Thrown back into society and suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder after experiencing the hell of active combat in Afghanistan, Miller doesn't fit in. Targeted as an undercover surveillance operative to monitor suspected terrorists in Britain, Miller soon becomes obsessed with saving Alayna, a young Anglo-Asian woman from a group of fanatics. Relevant to Britain in 2011, "THE VETERAN" explores the link between the war on terror and the war on drugs, from the soldiers on the front line to the drug dealers on the streets of Britain and how both are controlled and manipulated directly and indirectly by the government. When Miller uncovers a conspiracy involving the security services, his rage spirals out of control and he takes the situation into his own hands and embarks on a brutal quest for justice with bloody and devastating consequences.
