About this movie

On the eve of graduating law school, Veronica Mars has put Neptune and her amateur sleuthing days behind her. While interviewing at high-end New York law firms, Veronica Mars gets a call from her ex-boyfriend Logan who has been accused of murder. Veronica heads back to Neptune just to help Logan find an attorney, but when things don't seem right with how Logan's case is perceived and handled, Veronica finds herself being pulled back into a life she thought she had left behind.

The movie was Veronica Mars at her finest but I have to say I was disappointed by the ending. I don't want to spoil anything so I'll just say that I felt as if everyone was better off at the beginning of the movie than they were at the end. It was very bittersweet but in a way the show had always been too. If you don't know if you should watch it, watch it anyway. All in all a good movie.

Full of inside jokes and series references, the movie is a great addition to the Veronica Mars legacy. I hate seeing the low ratings because of technical difficulties or plot ignorance. Rob Thomas was able to create the world of Neptune with little time and a small budget by Hollywood standards. I hope there are more movies. Until then I' m reading the book.

They did everything right with this big screen foray. 6 years after it ended its run on TV, this felt like stepping back into the show in a natural and unforced way. I had low expectations for this from past disappointment, but this is a must see for any fans of the show.
