The Turning stars Finn Wolfhard (TV's Stranger Things) and Mackenzie Davis (TV's Black Mirror) in a thrilling adaptation of Henry James' landmark novel. At a mysterious estate in the Maine countryside, a newly appointed nanny is charged with the care of two disturbed orphans. She quickly discovers that both the children and the house are harboring dark secrets and things may not be as they appear.

It's one of those movies where I feel it was trying too hard and just didn't get there, or anywhere...? Scares if any were minor, but the movie does keep your attention by it's characters. It sets you up for an unsettling maybe disturbing ride that unfortunately doesn't quite live to the expectation. Beautiful location, and some solid acting but a huge lack in storytelling.

I wish I read the reviews first. I give every movie a chance. This was complete rubbish, have no idea where it was going and still didn’t get it when it did end. Oh sweet baby Jesus if I’m writing a review it means it is bad........ real bad! Don’t watch this movie, you’ve been warned.

After watching the trailer, I thought i would give this movie a chance. I wished i hadn't, not a great film and very confusing ending which made no sense.
