About this movie

Academy Award winner Edmund Gwenn, John Forsythe, Mildred Natwick and Jerry Mathers star in this charming comedy mystery. The trouble with Harry is that he's dead, and while no one really minds, everyone feels responsible. Academy Award winner Shirley MacLaine makes her screen debut in this New England romp that includes romance, humor...and several unearthings of the corpse. In The Trouble with Harry, the Master of Suspense proves the range of his genius with a decidedly different work.

Most people would say Vertigo or Psycho, maybe North by Northwest, but this is my favorite. The comedy is broad at times, but it's always dark and wickedly funny. The cast is absolutely perfect, and Harry, well Harry is nothing but trouble.

(In Color) What a incredibly fun, funny, and refreshing forgotten black comedy Alfred Hitchcock gem! It's definitely one of those types of movies that's better to go into without knowing ANYTHING about it, but I'll let you in on some helpful info. Other than a discovered corpse, there's no violence shown so it's a movie anyone could enjoy. The other thing you need to know is that Hitchcock absolutely made this movie to mess with the audience so prepare to be tricked in many delightful ways.
