About this movie

What starts as a poignant medical documentary about Deborah Logan's descent into Alzheimer's disease and her daughter's struggles as caregiver degenerates into a maddening portrayal of dementia at its most frightening, as hair-raising events begin to plague the family and crew and an unspeakable malevolence threatens to tear the very fabric of sanity from them all.

This movie was garbage. All acting was terrible. Michelle Ang the lady who was documenting this whole process was the worst actor in the film. They were all bad though. I mean I literally hate the fact that watched this movie. It has no redeeming qualities. Don't watch even if you see it for free. You will get so sick of seeing that old hag sneering. It is really bad. It has a slight sheen of what passes for horror but putting glitter on a turd doesn't make it any less of a turd. So bad.

Watching this in 2020 makes it obvious how the 2014 gimmicks were at play. It's your typical shaky cam POV movie. Slight jump scares but, as a person who's seen their fair share of horror movies, it was not as scary as it's been praised to be. I was looking for a movie that would keep me glued to the screen and scared out of my wits but this movies was NOT it. The only reason I give it two stars is because I understand that maybe to some innocent horror newbie it could be frightening...

Genuinely scary my a$$... This movie is horrible. Poor acting and the usual shaky camera random garbage we've been seeing over and over since paranormal activity. The trailer for this movie was amazing and i went in with high hopes... don't waste your money.
