The Sword and the Rose

During the early reign of King Henry VIII, the king's sister, princess Mary Tudor falls in love with the Captain of the Guards, Charles Brandon, but is forced to become the unwilling bride of the aging King of France. When the king dies, Charles comes to France to rescue Mary from an unwanted marriage to the Duke of Buckingham.
