This movie is a quiet masterpiece that epitomizes the comic genius of Robin Williams, with a wonderful end-of-career performance by Walter Matthau. Lampooning the survivalist camp craze of the times, this movie offers a slew of overt and surreptitious fun that we can usually expect from Williams movies. A definite box office and DVD rental sleeper. But still one of my favorites from when Robin Williams was at his peak.

Robin Williams plays an interesting character in this film, someone interested in guns. Seems timely in many ways with all the gun violence now occurring on our streets. The plot itself is a bit simple, but the humor Williams and Matthau inject into the film will make everyone laugh.
