The Stuff

3 and a half out of 5. The Stuff has alot going on at once and feels a bit messy cause of that. The Stuff is still a decent 80s horror flick where I actually was disturbed and scared at times and has thrill in it. It is like The Thing mixed with Slither but you got to eat The Stuff in the movie to have your mind go nuts and even get yourself killed by it. The effects are fine enough, could be better. A decent disturber.

This Stuff is an absurd, dark comedy on 80s consumerism disguised as a 50s Sci-fi schlocker and its so much FUN! From the opening shot of an old factory worker, who finds a white "stuff" bubbling right out of the earth. What does he do? He immediately touches it and then tastes it. Right then and there, if you the viewer aren't already laughing, then skip this movie. The Stuff pairs longtime friends director Larry Cohen & actor Michael Moriarty & Moriarty steals the show. Awesome performance👍

Great 80's B-movie fun. It's satirical look at 80's rampant consumerism. Fun, but not a well made movie but any stretch. It's poorly acted as well, but it's has its charming.
