About this movie

Nobody does it better than Bond, and he proves it once more in this explosively entertaining adventure that takes him from the Egyptian pyramids to the ocean floor to a gravity-defying mountaintop ski chase! Roger Moore brings inimitable style to Agent 007 as he teams with beautiful Russian Agent Anya Amasova (Barbara Bach) to stop the megalomaniac Stromberg (Curt Jurgens) from unleashing a horrific scheme for world domination. But as the countdown to nuclear armageddon begins, Bond must first battle Jaws (Richard Kiel), a seemingly indestructible steel-toothed giant!

Roger Moore's second to most serious outing of the seven, The Spy Who Loved Me's staying power is just not as strong as the opening sequence...or Jaws' biting power. Wonderful Bond song though.

Great pre titles sequence with a fantastic stunt. Great music with a Bond disco theme, superb villian in Curd Jurgens and a marvellous henchman in Jaws (sadly totally ruined in Moonraker). Great car in the lotus and I love the helicopter chase. Beautiful women with Valerie Leon and Caroline Munro, I love the wink she gives Bond and a superb fight sequence in the ship. Have I missed anything? oh yes, best Bond theme.

And I think even the best film the only thing I'm going to advise if you haven't watched it is to not watch the trailer because all the old trailers give away to many spoilers!
