About this movie

Three college students on a road trip across the Southwest experience a detour: the tracking of a computer genius who has already hacked into MIT and exposed security faults. The trio find themselves drawn to an eerily isolated area. Suddenly everything goes dark. Then it gets confused, and from there it goes down the drain. You keep wondering why two of the trio are stuck with alien body parts, until you're told that it's to help them get out of something from which, in the end, they will never get out of anyway. The role of the young woman in all of this remains unclear and unanswered. If Aliens play with us in that manner, we're in for a dull party.

There was so much potential, starts off really good, but half way through you just KNOW the ending is going to be awful. Not believable even in a SciFi perspective. Could have been a much better storyline. Still, entertaining in a way.

I wanted to like this movie. I want to like any movie with Laurence Fishburne. I can't fault the acting. The movie just doesn't make sense. It begins with one flavour that seems to be going somewhere, and then changes direction leaving the viewer with a kinda bad taste thinking , "it doesn't make sense." Not that you can't follow the storyline, but just logically. Anyway ... Next.
