I can't begin to say how disappointed i am.. Without spoiling the film there is a dedicated food source available for the Carcharias charcharodon, and not being territorial over food sources when in abundance there is zero motive for a white pointer to act aggressively towards humans. ITS BULLSHIT LIKE THIS AND SHARK WEEK ON, SO CALLED, DISCOVERY CHANNEL THAT PERPETUATE THESE STERIOTYPES AND MISINFORMATION. WHICH ULTIMATELY IS DANGEROUS FOR BOTH THE ANIMALS AS WELL AS THE HUMANS... :'(

I was unfortunate to see this for free and still want my money back. Fake shark, worse than jaws, most of it can be dismissed as hallucinations from blood loss. The worst part was being "girl power" and flopped, like if Jim Carrey tried to do an Arnold movie. And before you get your pants in a bind, guys got guy power movies that flop too, just enjoy the ocean views.

I'm not much for drama/thriller movies but I watched it cause I promised my wife I would. Gotta say I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun it was. Personally I was rooting for the misunderstood shark considering they were just trying to protect their feeding ground, but I could see how they could be considered the villain, because they had very little dialogue in the movie to explain their side of the story. Blake played a convincing role as a fun loving / bad-ass surfer throughout the flick and had me hoping she would make it out safely by the end of the movie. Shout out to the seagull that kept her company while she was stranded on the rock.
