The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel

This might not quite have the freshness and the edge of the first episode but it doesn't disappoint. The film follows the same tried and tested formula with many of the original cast returning in the sequel. There are a number of plot lines as we follow the characters from the first film and find out how they have been getting on. Of course the calibre of the acting is excellent as with the first film, but then I haven't seen a bad film with Judy Dench in. Worth watching.

My issue is with google play selling in HD format only. They'd have more sales if there wasn't limited options. Had to go to cinema to watch, but I'd definitely view again once they get it in SD format.

A poor follow up to the original. Where the first moved along gently with humour the 2nd Marigold jumps around, throws in a bit of bollywood and hollywood and ends up with a disappointing mess of a movie.
