As a remake, this movie completely misses the mark of what made the original Rocky Horror so great. The direction is flat and boring, the sets look more suited to a high-school play than a professional film, most of the characters are over-exaggerated to the point of being annoying, and the musical numbers have lost all of their energy (with the lone exception of 'Hot Patootie- Bless My Soul). The actors are definitely trying with what they've been given, especially Laverne Cox. But ultimately this film falls completely flat and only makes me wish I was watching the original instead.

Absolutely terrible. The acting, accents and songs are all atrocious. This film is a complete polar opposite to the greatness of the original. I wouldn't be surprised if Tim Curry regrets getting on board. Stay away, I can't believe I spent money on this mess.

I'm a HUGE fan of the original and wanted to give this film a chance even though I knew it wouldn't come close to the original but it was worse than I thought they got it completely wrong Brad and Janet were ok, magenta was just scarily weird, Colombia spoke and sang like she was high on drugs, riff was pretty good, laverne as Frank was so off the mark it was awful and so uncomfortable to watch the only good thing about it was the opening song and Adam Lambert as Eddie
