Brutal and heartbreaking. In a future world where the environment has destroyed society, the dwindling North American population becomes nomadic seeking out food and shelter. A father tries to protect all he has left: his son unaware of the world before. Not as dark as the book. Thought George Clooney should have been the father, but Viggo excellent as always.

I like dystopian films, but this one was too bleak for me. When the film is done you don't feel entertained, just depressed.
