A movie with amazing cinematography and direction and sound design. The Revenant will engross you in the world it recreates, and it will put you on the edge of your seat and transfer you into Hugh Glasses world of surviving a winter and searching for the man who killed his son. Director Alfonso does an amazing job with his ultra long takes and DiCaprio's preformance, while not his best, defiantly is a great one.

It is definitely long and boring, is it really the worst movie though..no, no it isn't. I still don't understand how Leonardo DiCaprio got an Oscar for this role when he has played significantly better roles in much better movies. Not that his acting was awful here, quite the opposite. This score should not reflect the actors because they all did a fantastic job, if it were not for them, I would have never finished it. Still, this is super depressing to watch with no big payoff at the end.

A little less than 3 hours of Leo moaning and grunting while crawling in snow! Really don't know what the hype was all about. "Epic advendure"? There's no story really.... Can't believe this is what got him an Oscar.
