Worst film I've seen this year. The problem with expanding the first film's premise so that it takes place in a city is it also leaves more room for it to go wrong. The characters are dull stereotypes, the action is terribly shot, the scripting is just whatever plus the protagonist's motive for why he's out purging is revealed only for it to set up the most ridiculous ending I've seen in a while. Talking about this movie is far more interesting than watching it.

I like the idea of the Purge movies but I can't help but feel both movies could have been made better.The first movie is still the best for me but this follow up on a bigger scale lacks the tension and atmosphere of it's predecessor.That being said I still enjoyed the sequel and hope the third installment if there is one is a better film all round with better direction,story line and production.

Not the best film because first of all the people in the car oh yeah I for got ****SOILIER ALERT ***** so the people in the car when the purges on the bike try and get them in fact when the girls get catched by them men and the man comes in the car and shoots the men don't u think that he should be dead because he's driving and people are purgeing so shouldn't they have shot him by now sorry for the long sentence but thanks for reading I guess :)
