The Possession (Uncut Edition)

This story is infact based on a real box, this box, the dybbuk box, my mum nearly bought for £22.50 at an ebay auction. this first came on sale in a yardsale in portland oregon. this was sold by a holocaust survivor. the man that bought it gave it to his mother for her birthday. she suffered a stroke later that day. the man then proceeded to sell the box. the next man who came into possesion of the box broke out in serious hives and, unfortunately, got brain cancer within weeks of having the box.

I enjoy horror films with a passion and the "horrors" they come out with these day tend not to move you as they once did. The Possession on the other hand, throws you into the lives of a close but seperated family and makes you feel you are amoungst it. It lets you care for the characters and what they stand for, their emotions and actions. With suspense, scares, emotion and hide-behind-the-sofa moments, this film easily scores a 5 star from me. If you live for possesion horrors, get a load of this film.

It was that good that I can't remember that much about it which sums up the film for me. Anyone reading this I would suggest you watch paint dry which might be more memorable for you than this film
