About this movie

Set in the future in a time of interplanetary colonisation, Sy (Kellan Lutz), a mysterious drifter, meets Kane (Daniel MacPherson), a lieutenant working for an off-world military contractor, EXOR. The unlikely pair must work together to rescue Kane's young daughter (Teagan Croft) and reach safety amid an impending global crisis which was brought on by EXOR itself. Teaming up with a pair of renegades (Luke Ford and Isabel Lucas), Kane and Sy clash with EXOR in an attempt to escape while battling the savage creatures that roam the barren planet. Also starring Rachel Griffiths and Temuera Morrison, The Osiris Child: Science Fiction Volume One is an adrenaline-fueled sci-fi adventure. 2017 Storm Vision Entertainment Pty Ltd.

The movie had SO much potential yo be good. But is severely let down in many areas making me wonder what on earth the studio was thinking making this. The actual story had potential but never seemed to stick. As it relied on jumping forwards and backwards in time to give the characters their history which seemed over the top. Which felt at the end took took much time away from the actual story happening and made me question who the main lead character actually was supposed to be. There is also many, many bad errors. Deliberately wrong things which got under my skin too. For e.g. you have people having CPR done in a future set hospital when deep space colonization is now a thing? And the ending, well who knows what is going on there as that is just ridiculous!

👎 Total dross. Shallow and hard to follow yet graphic and ultra violent with zero justification. Wish they had given me the budget and I would have taken a nice holiday, would have been a better use of the money.

I enjoyed this tremendously. I went into it not knowing what to expect, but TOC was surprisingly interesting and kept my attention throughout.
