About this movie

When a young nun at a cloistered abbey in Romania takes her own life, a priest (Demian Bichir) with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows (Taissa Farmiga) are sent by the Vatican to investigate. Together they uncover the order’s unholy secret. Risking not only their lives but their faith and their very souls, they confront a malevolent force in the form of the same demonic nun that first terrorized audiences in “The Conjuring 2,” as the abbey becomes a horrific battleground between the living and the damned.

Wish there were more stars I want to rate this film a 10/10 it absolutely sucks you in , then spits a new 180 degree spin fx and returns to real realisation that you are not at all alone even when you are. The Reality of Possession and exossism scares the actual daylights out of me sadly Warren's are no more and the last exorcism priest died 4 years ago and I am really scared.

I dare anyone to watch this in a darkened room with the sound cranked up by themselves and not be looking over their shoulder every few minutes. The Nun delivers the scares. If only more fright films were this uncomfortably creepy as hell. This ain't no Sound Of Music nun.

Don't listen to the naysayers, this movie ticks all the boxes! It might not have had the impact of The Conjuring. Which was probably the best horror movie of this era. But it was fun and freaky with great atmosphere even if the plot fell a little flat with a few missed opportunities. Still awesome.
