The script for this movie was a mess and I see why Rachel didn't want to be part of it. The son was annoying and it had the same beats of the original didn't up the game like the second one did. The CGI was good at times and others....yikes. Two original cast members. No chemistry between the new cast. The beginning gives you high hopes but then leaves a bad after taste.

The other mummy movies were so good so I had high hopes for this one. You can't make a sequel without original cast members and expect people not to notice. The new actress who tried talking exactly like Rachael Weisz drove me nuts the whole movie. Save yourself the trouble and watch the mummy, the mummy returns, the scorpion king and pretend this movie doesn't exist

I like the female actress that plays his original wife in both the first and second of the movies. Agreed without the original cast it throws everything off balance. Like freddy from elm street playing as jason, and jason being freddy in nightmare on elm st. When you take the original actors from there roles it really makes the movie bad.
