About this movie

Eastwood stars as Earl Stone, a man in his 80s who is broke, alone, and facing foreclosure of his business when he is offered a job that simply requires him to drive. Easy enough, but, unbeknownst to Earl, he’s just signed on as a drug courier for a Mexican cartel. He does well—so well, in fact, that his cargo increases exponentially, and Earl is assigned a handler. But he isn’t the only one keeping tabs on Earl; the mysterious new drug mule has also hit the radar of hard-charging DEA agent Colin Bates. And even as his money problems become a thing of the past, Earl’s past mistakes start to weigh heavily on him, and it’s uncertain if he’ll have time to right those wrongs before law enforcement, or the cartel’s enforcers, catch up to him. 2018 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc., Bron Creative, and Imperative Entertainment, LLC.

I was really looking forward to watching this, Eastwood is a VERY credible director (one of the best). But even here, it has to be left/right with so many. Even if you don't like his personal politics (& I don't), his later works are all about left-wing ends to right-wing means, that's what a good director does & normally it's something we don't care about. Now people love/hate him over Trump. Any nuance in American cinema is officially out-the-window. Careful what you wish for. Thanks for that.

Fantastic story line based on a true story. Stellar performance Amazing actors like Clint Eastwood & Bradley Cooper just to mention two of them. Overall, it was a really great movie. The only complaint/negative thing that I can honestly say about tjis movie is that it was a little too long, slow, & drawn out far more than it needed to be and/or should have been. Clint Eastwood never fails when it comes to giving you a not so happy ending that isn't quite what you predicted, wanted, or liked.

The Mule is one of those films which has a great message. In this case, family is the most important of all. We all think that money is the most important thing. No, it's not. But I must admit that money is kind of important too. So, we need to keep those two in balance. Although it has a great message, the presentation is so boring. But I could keep watching. Maybe because I was eager to see how he's gonna get caught. So, the film isn't that much great, but it's still watchable. At least once.
