I'm a huge fan of the book, I'm just like max and that makes me happy. After I read the book I felt better about myself, any way going back to the movie, it was great a few different thing but that happens with all of the movies that are based on a book,( after you Finnish the movie you are going to cry, but at the same time you are going to want to be something, you will want to make a difference and that is what everybody is going to do) sorry if this isn't really about the movie, I can say that's good

I did a study with my Jr high kids and they loved comparing the book and the movie. They loved the book but allowing them to watch the movie helped their imagination and allowed them to become attached to the characters easier. Jr high kids need to either watch this or read this story. They will relate and it will help them more.

I loved this movie. It's a tear jerker. The little boy reminds me of my son. Our friends were watching it with us and we all thought the same thing. Unfortunately my son died in 1995 at the age of 15 so it has become even more special to me and my family.
