The Lost City of Z

Pretty boring movie. More like 5 uninteresting stories wrapped up into one long and boring movie. The actors were really great in it, but the plot was a real drag. Good for watching on Sunday afternoon if it's rainy and there's nothing else on.

Charlie Hunnam invested a ton of time in this film and his performance shows his effort to avoid typecasting. You have to be in the mood for a slow pace, historically accurate film. I liked the actors alot and I think this film was lost amongst all the summer blockbusters.

Unless you usually watch movies based on true stories you might not like this film. I enjoyed it but I'm a nerd...it's slow for hardcore action fans.
