The cast in this remake tries to do justice to this film but it falls far short of the original, starring Reynolds. As much as I like Sandler he just doesn't come across as an NFL QB. I really wish that Hollywood would learn from these weak remakes and come up with more original ideas.

Adam Sandler is a joke and it is just the typical low brow entertainment u expect from him. The original is one of the best football movies ever made and one of the rare decent performances from Reynolds.

Incredibly underrated and severely critized. But the actor selection in this movie is the right cast for this type of comedy. If you love Adam Sandler, this will please you. Not to mention Hall Of Famer Michael Irvin is in it.
