About this movie

A classic tale of boy-meets-girl, plant-eats-people with Jack Nicholson in one of his first film roles. Seymour's exotic plant has an insatiable appetite only for blood and flesh. As the ruthless plant grows larger with each feeding, so does Seymour's affections for shop girl, Audrey. The madness culminates with Seymour and his bloodthirsty plant in a feeding frenzy of epic proportions. This timeless cult favorite has been pristinely restored in high definition from rare 35mm film elements. Roger Corman's Little Shop of Horrors has never looked better.

This is a cult classic. It's a fun B movie, not the musical. It is comedy, not a horror film. Nicholson has a small part, the masochist from the dentist scene (the Bill Murray part in the version you know.) If you want to spend a buck to see it colorized ok but the black and white version is widely available free online.

The first original awful version of Little Shop of Horrors! NO WERE NEAR AS GOOD as the Little Shop of Horrors 1986 version film and the musicals. The acting is terrible and the plant is badly created and looks fake! I can see why most characters were changed for the musical! DO NOT WATCH!

So a lot of people say its a bad flick, the effects suck, and the acting is bland, but in all honesty, it isnt awful. It definitely is not great, but it was literally all they had at the time. Give it a watch, but dont get your hopes too high.
