The Little Mermaid

Its kind of a pity as the core of the story narrative has great promise. A breakaway from the traditional stories as it were and is quite beautiful in isolation. But there's a lot of supplementary characters that just seem to be there to carry the plot along, and solve problems so that the lead characters dont have to, essentially watering down that core story to the point its illegible. Also giving the supplementary characters features and abilities with no explanation left even my little one asking questions trying to fill the gaps. They could have, perhaps made more sense if the film was an extra hour long with some more substantial backstory but honestly I still think they should have kept focus on development of 3 main characters And the bad guy was just, bad. No other way of putting it. If he was supposed to be creepy or sinister, sly or feel powerful he wasn't. He didnt feel threatening so she didn't seem earnestly scared. The romance was killed off by all the above. Just far too many stories on the go. The effects were good, they didn't overdo it and I think the little one felt more a sense of realism because of the prosthetics of the mermaid than had it been CGI.

The little mermaid 2 under the sea is one of my favourite flim so much inside me. It making me cry right now. It was so sad at the end of the flim when the young girl saved her life take her into the water a little mermaid she was dead take her into water straight away and come back alive again a little mermaid come into her heart the young girl wasn't breathing a little mermaid toke her in the water to save give her life again. This is such a bad film... I'm sure it's fine for very small child but as an adult it's sooooooo bad. Cheesy beyond belief and the acting is awful!
