At this point, I would not be able to count how many times in my lifetime I have watched this stunning example of animation from Disney. It has everything required of a brilliant story, building of a loving relationship between a father and his son, tragedy, coming of age, romance, confrontation and triumph. It has beautiful imagery throughout and phenomenal musical score to match. The voice talents in this movie were perfectly matched for each role and are iconic in my book. My children have also grown up watching this movie as they also appreciate the quality of great animation. No matter what new technology comes out, this movie in it's original format is just a stunning example of 2D animation. Love every single minute of this movie.

The Lion King has been my favourite movie since it was released when I was 8 years old. It will always be my favourite movie. I will always remember the snippet they left out from the theatre version when it went to vhs (and then to DVD).

If I could I would give it negative a hundred stars it is an obvious movie with thousands of cliché's I can not see what all the fuss is about. The only half decent thing about this film a British bird. If you guys think this is good Doctor Who will BLOW YOUR MIND!!!
