About this movie

Disney's The Lion King, directed by Jon Favreau, journeys to the African savanna, where a future king is born. Simba idolizes his father, King Mufasa, and takes to heart his own royal destiny. But not everyone in the kingdom celebrates the new cub's arrival. Scar, Mufasa's brother-and former heir to the throne-has plans of his own. The battle for Pride Rock is ravaged with betrayal, tragedy and drama, ultimately resulting in Simba's exile. With help from a curious pair of newfound friends, Simba will have to figure out how to grow up and take back what is rightfully his. The all-star cast includes Donald Glover as Simba, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter as Nala, James Earl Jones as Mufasa, Chiwetel Ejiofor as Scar, Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and Billy Eichner as Timon. Disney's The Lion King utilizes pioneering filmmaking techniques to bring treasured characters to life in a whole new way.

I would rather have taken 3 hours on the toilet with severe diorea, than watched this expression dead remake of a great movie. You do the original movie a disservice by using the same plot and similar audio to make a worse adaptation. A Film student with 1 day of lectures could have done a better job of recreating what made the original so special, I hope the industry learns that we expect better from them, not remaking the same thing over and over.

This movie was amazing! The graphics were out of this world! :D The lions should had a little more personality and emotion on their face and the lions should've been a little more distinguishable from each other, Scar should've been more narcissistic and a snarky character like before and look more like his character in the cartoon( he was evil but funny too, Timon and Pumbaa were an absolute blast funny and loveable at every turn and the love scenes were so romantic.

Grew up loving the original. It's amazingly what they can do now with movies! However it really felt weird because it was like watching David Attenborough and then they suddenly break into song and dance! Beyonce's pitchy, riffing, annoying voice should only ever be enjoyed on mute. Can You Feel The Love Tonight is 7 syllables Beyonce not 47!!!
