I loved this movie as a kid (having always loved Vincent Price movies.) I saw "I am Legend" and never really put the two together. (It had been awhile sice I watched this movie.) If you watch the credits, it says that its based off the book "I am Legend." This is one of my favorite "Price" movies. (I think the black and white version is better. It gives the movie more character, but still a great film.)

This is one of the greatest science fiction movies ever made. Richard Matheson's vision of this apocalyptic world is remarkable. As usual, the original book by Matheson is the best. But this particular movie adaptation is very, very good. Vince Price is wonderful in this movie. I highly recommend it.
