The Last Five Years tells the two sides to the story of a relationship over the course of five years. Though each side is being told from a different starting point. One tells the story from start to finish while the other tells from the ending to the beginning. Trippy but well executed. What makes the show worth the concept are the performances of Jordan and Kendrick. They bring a solid vocal performance to a high concept musical.

Mediocre at best. I think it was because the original cast recording captures the soul of the characters. It is rich and layered. Anna Kendrick's voice can be quite shrill and flat, maybe due to her lack of life experience. Better casting could have saved this piece. Very unfortunate. A for effort, but a total hit and a miss!

This was listed as a comedy, I have no idea why? I love musicals & was drawn in from the first note till the last. I loved them both, but Jeremy Jordan blew me away! This was an amazing love story told in musical forum & I loved it!!
