About this movie

The heroes of Bricksburg are back in a new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city! It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are now facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than it can be rebuilt. The battle to defeat the invaders and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet (Chris Pratt), Lucy (Elizabeth Banks), Batman (Will Arnett) and their new friends to faraway, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and may just reveal how special they really are.

Hilarious, clever, well-planned out and kudos to the voice actress for Queen Watevra-Wannabee, fantastic voice, great job. Also, I would like to impress upon the adults wanting to watch this with their kids the amazing amount of clever references and throwbacks in this movie, all wrapped up with a cute, feel-good ending and moral. One of my favourite movies of ALL TIME. Would recommend. Watch this movie.

This film is very 'awesome'. It is different to the first film which is good, but yet still keeps the same mood :nice and jolly. Well, it's nice and jolly for emmet at least. It deals with the ending to the Lego movie nicely and changes the mood with almost every scene. It is filled with a few shocking twists which only makes the film more entertaining. Not only does it entertain us, it also gives a nice inside meaning that could improve children's attitude to each other. 5/5 definitely.

The LEGO Movie 2 is a Pretentious film. It tries to match up with the first one, but it never does. The animation is still beautiful, and the voice acting is alright. But there's just something missing from the lore.
