The LEGO® Movie

Took a while 2 get into the film..plotline and story ok, nothin outstanding other than the graphix of the film awole....an ok watch...the downside 4 me was the ending as it felt like advertisement 4 LEGO itself and how much fun LEGO can b 2 play with. Id hav scrapped the ending as it took the enjoyment factor out of the film and strayed away from the charecters created in this film, hense the 3 rating.

Unfortunately, this film has fallen directly into the trap of letting the special affects be better than the actual plot. The plot is (annoyingly) very silly and the film goes far too fast to be able to enjoy the jokes. Also, it is very manic and ridiculous and the only thing good about this movie is the fact it is excellently stop-motion animated. I am highly disappointed with this film as it could've been so much better. It's not worth wasting your money on this - even if you have lego-loving kids.

Absolutely fantastic movie marred only by the presence of that killer of helpless animals, Chris the Pratt. It zips along, it's fun and funny and surprisingly deep. One for adults - nevermind the kids. Waited a good long while for it after seeing it five times on the big screen and believe I got it on HD for 2.99? Worth it. Highly recommended! Get the soundtrack too! Batman's song is my ringtone, lol
