The Intruder

The Intruder. Wow. This is a film that is bad and weird in many ways during the first half. Quaid does a weird errrr..... The music just doesn't match.... Quaid appears every second for cheap jump scares.... But then, at the climax, the film kind of redeems itself and gets explosive. That's The Intruder. It is strange how it jumps from bad to good. The mix of it all is interesting, the way this film is.

Overall the film seemed more like a rough draft. It was difficult to connect to any of the characters because there isn’t a lot of development. I would have liked to know more about the couple and close friends. The framework was a bit confusing as well, attention was turned to objects/people that seemed unnecessary.

Great film. Everyone acted the part they were paid for to the hilt, whether it was a good, bad, dumb, rough, oblivious, creepy or a part that made you angry or jumpy, these wonderful actors SLAYED IT!!!! Edge of your seat kind of stuff! Gotta say seeing Dennis Quaid in this kind of role was different but he did his THAAAANG! Crazy as a bat!!!! Hats off to all of them. The friend was on POINT and his discernment should've been heeded! I was sorry to see him get nervous and ultimately killed off.
