The Hunt

I loved this movie. It is graphically violent but so much fun. Dont let the political baseline story dissuade you... I am Canadian so my political opinion is irrelevant, but I lean Democrat in US politics and enjoyed this movie rooting for the hunted republicans. And be sure to skip the trailer... just see this blind and let it unfold for you. I do agree with the negative reviews re the price though... maybe $19.99 is a bargain for those on date night but rentals should not be more than a ticket

Gilpin is great. The action is good. If it was just Gilpin swearing and killing people in a survival thriller, it would be pretty good. But all the social commentary satire was more depressing than clever or funny, especially watching after the Jan 6 attack knowing how much harm believing conspiracy theories can do, so that takes a lot of the fun out of the movie.

In pretty sure the rich libs in Canada are already doing this ( Trudeau def part of it) great film. Definitely worth a watch it has some funny moments aswell as some serious ones overall great mix.
