About this movie

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 now brings the franchise to its powerful final chapter in which Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) realizes the stakes are no longer just for survival – they are for the future. With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends – including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin) and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) – Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to liberate the citizens of Panem, and stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games. (c) null 2015 Lions Gate Entertainment Inc. All Rights Reserved.

The intimate feeling of the series declines with each show. This is due to the more experienced cast, and greater budget. Maybe special effects were overused, the movie did not have enough quiet scenes either, maybe cancel some of the action scenes and make some of them more drawn out to create suspense and an easier to follow story. A movie based on a book's storyline is hard to judge as the movie must follow the book. Good acting, a hard film to direct, well done guys for sticking the series out. A sad goodbye in all.

It was so boring. Mostly talking. Very disappointing. I kept waiting for a big blockbuster ending but it fizzled out like wet dynamite. Only good part was when the movie finally finished. I bet President Snow was glad it's over as well. No more terrible sequels. The ending was a joke. There was no spark between them. Sorry I spent money on this turkey.
