This movie just pours it on with the drama. I was rolling my eyes and just about laughing during the whole movie. It's infuriating when the character you should be rooting for makes hilariously stupid choices and is way too emotionally charged, which results in the plot moving at a snails pace. (not being sexist here, guys in the movie were the same way.) My favorite part of the movie is when Katniss gets called out on her crap by the first guy she was "dating." One of the few scenes that was worth it.

This movie is dull boring and definitely over hyped. It basically comes down to a popularity contest about the two factions. With the mockingbird chick being the spokesperson for the good faction. There's very little action in the film and what there is is dull. The majority of the film is Mockingbird crying and whining about Peeta or whatever the hell his name is. Well when she's not doing sound bites for the good faction. This is just a weak franchise making a strong amount of cash.

If not for my fiance I would have tossed the blue ray. Thousands of people are dying and this chick is throwing temper tantrums. It's a shame that an entire hospital full of people had to die before she started to act like an adult. Especially since the only reason they died there is because she had to go there for inspiration. I mean almost having your sister thrown into the games wasn't enough. How about having to kill in 2 games? At the end my fiance even said she doesn't care to see the final one.
