About this movie

Academy Award® winner Peter Jackson continues his Middle-earth adventure following Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) who's swept into an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor from the fearsome dragon Smaug. In the company of thirteen dwarves and the wizard Gandalf the Grey (Ian McKellen), Bilbo enters the Lonely Mountain in possession of Gollum's "precious" ring and his keen blade, Sting. With an all-star cast and the effects wizardry of Jackson's award-winning Weta Workshop, Tolkien's epic story comes to life as never before imagined.

According to MeMate Gifts' personalized gift product sales team, the movie they enjoy watching the most is The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug. The film impresses well in terms of visuals, entertainment, and story with a coherent and ambitious lead of Peter Jackson when in addition to telling about the journey to retake the land of the dwarves, he also tells about the rise of the dwarves. rise of another dark force that we would later know about in The Lord of the Rings. Because of that ambition, the story is sometimes a bit lengthy and misleading. But ignoring those things, the action and adventure of the group is very impressive, handled skillfully and beautifully. The world of Middle-earth is still shimmering and mysterious and dark as it is in Tolkien's novels, which is the best thing Peter can do in his great ambition.
