I love the movie myself being a black woman not living in 1960's I personally haven't felt any racism myself . And you can't be mad of how things were back in the 60s but every housekeeper was very loyal to their employer. It's just too bad that this is year 2020 and we still have ignorant people in this world that think like that. So when they say make America great again that means to me they want to go back to the 1960s that will never happen. Wake up America have a open mind and heart.

A story of black women that went through a lot of crap, watching white people children, & black women working extremely hard at white people's homes. They made very little money compared to what minimum wage is & the highest pay is today. I felt so sorry for those ladies. But there was one really nice white lady that hired "Minnie", & what a woman she was. She could really cook & she definitely showed "Cecilia Foote" a few tricks on cooking. Minnie also showed & told, Cecilia how to be honest.
