About this movie

Ready for another round? In the follow-up to the record-breaking hit comedy, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Bartha) travel to exotic Thailand for Stu's wedding. After Doug's now-unforgettable Las Vegas bachelor party, Stu is not taking any chances and has opted for a safe and subdued pre-wedding brunch. Things don't always go as planned however. What happens in Vegas may stay in Vegas, but what happens in Bangkok can't even be imagined -- think monkeys, tattoos and the return of Mr. Chow! Acclaimed comedy filmmaker Todd Phillips reunites with his comic quartet of over-indulged stars for another globe-trotting howl at the moon with the "Wolfpack."

If you told me this movie and the first were based on the same script with slight modifications, I would believe you. The premise is almost exactly the same as the first movie. Has a lot of the same jokes as the original, except they don't land as well. With the exception of one or two scenes, nothing new came of this movie. Maybe worth the watch if it's free, but I would not pay money to rent this movie if I had known what it was going to be like beforehand. It is surprising to me how well the reviews for this movie are. I've heard the third movie is better, so you might be better off skipping this one and jumping straight to that one.

This was an amazing succeccess like the first one. Instead of losing one of their own members this time, they lose Alan's future brother in law. Hilarious from the beginning to the end. Mysterious because anything can happen next. From finding a finger, to seeing a monkey deal with drugs, to finally semi-crashing a wedding with a speed boat. Any goes in Bangcock

This movie has nothing to offer that the original hasn't offered already. I loved the first one, but this movie is almost identical plot wise and feels very stale because of it. I went into this movie with low expectations, and even they weren't met. They better not make a third, but who am I kidding. This crap still makes money.
